Community Enterprise Queensland (CEQ) manages and operates the IBIS stores and has a genuine commitment to not only employing local people, but in developing and training staff to help them reach their full potential.  CEQ prides itself on a workforce that comprises 75% Indigenous staff with 15 of its stores being managed by local community members.  This is only achievable through a genuine commitment to staff development and clearly defined career pathways.

Doomadgee Store Manager
Brief Summary: The Store Manager is to provide effective and efficient management of the day to day operations of a CEQ branch retail store, ensuring financial viability of the store, adequate staffing levels, effective merchandising, compliance with all legislative and company policies and procedures and adherence to operational budgets under the guidance of the Regional Manager.

Doomadgee Assistant Store Manager
Brief Summary: The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Supermarket Manager, to achieve efficient and profitable operation for the CEQ Supermarket. The position is also responsible for the implementation of policy and procedures to ensure compliance in all aspects of retail operations together with the training of relevant staff in all aspects of retail operations.

Electrical Salesperson Thursday Island
Brief Summary: The Electrical Sales Person is to provide effective and efficient management of the day to day operations of the department, ensuring financial viability of the department, adequate staffing levels, effective merchandising, compliance with all legislative and company policies and procedures and adherence to operational budgets under the guidance of the Business Manager.
